  • healing touch clinic

The September Sunday afternoon clinic is on hold, but the Wednesday afternoon  sessions will continue.  So come see Julie at the Farmers market or call for an  appointment upstairs in room 205.

This clinic is available for anyone interested in experiencing a relaxing, 30-minute session to restore your balance and energy. There will be several experienced Healing Touch Practitioners and possibly some students of Healing Touch from the CMC College of Health Sciences available for these sessions.  While there is no charge for the clinic, donations are accepted for the use of the building. Most of the evaluations of previous clinics have rated the experience as a valuable one and most enjoyable.  The clinic is held the second Sunday of each month and is open to the public.  You can read more about Healing Touch at www.healingtouchprogram.com

  • rocky river readers

    Monday, September 24

    7:00 pm, church parlor

Our book for September is Kristen Hannah’s Magic Hour. Having read her best seller,

Nightingale in 2017, we look forward to discussing this earlier book by the author.

Deep in the Pacific Northwest lies the Olympic National Forest which is nearly one million acres of mostly undiscovered land. From the heart of this old forest, a 6-yr-old girl emerges.  She cannot give any information about herself.  Julia, a disgraced child psychiatrist, is determined to save this child, but she will need help from others including a sister who is the police chief in the small town caught up in this drama.  What will happen to the girl she calls Alice?

We always welcome new readers! Please join us in the church parlor whether you had a chance to read this month’s book or not.
