We strive to minister to the congregation as a whole and to the women in particular through Bible study, prayer and fellowship. We would love to welcome some new faces to our groups! We meet the first Tuesday of each month.

Are You in need of Balance & Peace?
The New Year got me thinking about this, and several things came together to remind me that there are several ways to help achieve my goals.
1. I began a Gratitude Journal that I just write a comment in when I first get up in the morning; sometimes I add to it, but it starts my day off right.
2. Bible Study has brought me a long way in my faith journey.
I began this weekly in-depth study with a group of women of
varied backgrounds when I retired in 2010. It has proven to be
a great learning experience and I recommend it to anyone who is seeking a deeper understanding of God's plan in life.
We offer several Bible Studies here at RRPC; Sunday School, Presbyterian Women, Theology on Tap, Tuesday morning and/or Wednesday Evening. It’s never too late to try one!
3. Balance can come in many ways: sometimes altering my busy schedule and getting more rest, or doing self-care by getting an occasional massage. Healing Touch has been my centering practice for over 20 years and I am glad to share it with others.
I offer a clinic on the 3rd Sunday of the month in the
afternoon to help people deal with pain through relaxation response. Anyone interested in trying this technique can make an appointment with me. Sessions last 30 minutes and there is no charge for this service. Donations to the building fund are appreciated. Many thanks to everyone who has helped to make RRPC a forward thinking church!

.As our reading year continues, we welcome readers from the congregation and community to join us. We will discuss The Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly.
Based on a true story of a New York socialite who championed a group of concentration camp survivors known as the Rabbits, this debut novel reveals a story of love, redemption and terrible secrets that were hidden for decades.
Caroline Ferriday is a former Broadway actress and liaison to the French consulate whose life is forever changed when Hitler’s army invades Poland in Sept. 1939—and then sets its sights on France. An ocean away from Caroline, Kasia Kuzmerick, a Polish teenager, sinks deeper into her role as a courier for the underground resistance movement.
In Germany, Herta Oberheuser, a young doctor, answers an ad for a government medical position—only to find herself trapped in a male-dominated realm of Nazi secrets and power.
The lives of these three women are set on a collision course when the unthinkable happens and Kasia is sent to Ravensbruck, the notorious Nazi concentration camp for women. Their stories cross continents, as Caroline and Kasia strive to bring justice to those whom history has Forgotten.
